Laurel Master Stylist Laurel is a master stylist who truly enjoys connecting with every client who sits in her chair. She places great value on living life to its fullest each day. When she became a stylist in 2001, she made a pact with herself that she would get to know the industry to its fullest extent. Since then, she has taken as many cosmetology classes as she could get her hands on – including hair color and design training at the Aveda Advanced Academies in London and Minneapolis. Laurel earned her Instructor’s License in 2008, and worked as one of Eric Fisher Academy’s esteemed Cosmetology Learning Leaders. During this process, she not only led students to their goals of becoming cosmetologists, but also enhanced her experience in the field. Laurel stated, “Having worked at this school is like completing my master’s degree in cosmetology- If there were such a thing!” Laurel feels blessed for every day she spends at work, and with friends and family. Not a day goes by that she doesn’t laugh with everyone. She truly enjoys being in an upbeat and positive environment, and at Platinum she feels right at home.
