She believes that with the help of our talented hair team and spa technicians, everyone should feel and look their best. A rarity among salon owners, Tambra also works behind the chair to service her customers with quality creations.
Her expert techniques and extensive knowledge of the beauty industry have made Tambra a role model and educator for many. Inspired by education, she always searches for the newest, latest, and greatest techniques to share with Platinum. Since 1998, Platinum Salon and Spa has grown to be a distinguished, reputable salon thanks to loyal customers and Tambra's motivation and success.
Kristy
Massage Therapist
Kristy is a certified massage therapist who attended Butler Community College. She has volunteered her massage services at the Susan
G. Komen Race for the Cure and the local Extreme Home Makeover. She strives to listen closely and compassionately to each client in order to create the
best session possible.
Sarah
Manager/Esthetician/Make-Up Artist
Sarah possesses a unique gift for endless possibilities in skincare. With her professionalism, honesty and education she is able to customize her services to achieve beautiful skin for each individual client. Sarah is also an accomplished make-up artist.
She has worked with local businesses on commercial shoots, Charles Koch for Forbes Magazine, Music Artist Samantha Jade, Kayne Gillespie (from the popular reality show Project Runway), and is referred by local Wedding Coordinators for bridal makeup.
In addition to her talents in skincare and makeup, Sarah has also completed education for eyelash extensions. This is the newest craze and after hours of practice she has accomplished the art of fabulous looking lashes. With her extensive knowledge, Sarah also specializes in waxing and Alexandria Body Sugaring.
Sarah doesn't treat this career as a job; she treats it as her passion. She is very down to earth and looks
forward to meeting and getting to know you.

Hair Designer
Lacey possesses a true passion for the art of hair design and loves to make people feel their absolute best. Her creative and outgoing personality is perfect for clients who are looking to rejuvenate their same old color or to maintain their current style. Trendy haircuts, vibrant colors, Great Lengths hair extensions, and wax hair removal are her specialty.
In addition to her knowledge gained from working with talented stylists for several years, she has also received special training from the world-renowned Fanone International team of Hairdressing and she is a Wayne Grund educator. Her extensive knowledge of hair and products is very evident throughout your entire visit - she will do her absolute best to help you reach your beauty goal with her expert hair styling techniques!

Heather specializes in relaxing spa manicures and spa pedicures
given in a heated massage chair. She has the ability to bring
creativity and style to fingernails and toenails by her nail art
designs, custom-made for any lifestyle or occasion. Her
attention to detail is impeccable and due to extensive training,
she has the knowledge and tools to achieve long, healthy nails.
Stacy
Hair Designer
Stacy makes it her mission to design innovative styles to fit her
customer's lifestyle. She loves to learn new techniques and
trends to add to her creative collection and has attended many
local and national hair conventions including the Chicago Hair
Show. In addition to creating gorgeous hair colors, Stacy also
specializes in Great Lengths Hair Extensions and Alexandria
Body Sugaring.
She is always willing to experience revolutionary procedures,
Stacy is extremely versatile as she relaxes her clients with
select spa services in addition to hair creations.
Cora
Hair Designer
Cora's talent reflects her personal creativity, sense of style, and
attention to detail. An excellent listener, Cora possesses the
skill to adapt her talents to a client's desire. Always searching
for educational opportunities, she has attended a Sebastian
Trucco makeup class and a modern formal style course, which
makes her the perfect stylist for your formal occasion.
In addition, she has also increased her knowledge of hair
techniques with numerous courses taught by Graham Webb,
Matrix, and Schwarzkopf. Cora's ability to maintain satisfied
customers is due to her knowledge, patience, and dedication.

Manager
Cindy has been a part of the front desk team almost as long as
Platinum has been around! Her mission is to give customers
the best experience possible. In addition to her stellar
customer service, she also works behind-the-scenes with
numerous business tasks as a Salon Manager.
Christine
Certified Massage Therapist
Christine's dedication to her clients has made her an
accomplished massage therapist. She believes the most important elements in giving a therapeutic massage are to
connect deeply with the client, pay attention to the breathing,
bring awareness to the holding patterns, and to provide a space
to allow the client to go inside and feel, let go, and relax.
As a certified massage therapist, Christine has completed
extensive studies around the country and graduated from Baum
Healing Arts School in Reno, NV. The full body Swedish and
Deep Tissue Massage are her specialties, and in addition, she
also is accomplished in Tua-na, Pregnancy, Hot Stone Therapy,
and Alexandria Body Sugaring. Massage is her way of making
a difference on the planet. Helping to relieve stress and pain in
another human being is a powerful and rewarding experience.
Ashley
Hair Designer
The possibilities are endless with Ashley. As one of Platinum's
newest additions, she feels right at home with the highly
knowledgeable and professional staff. Since Ashley recently
moved from the East coast, she has brought with her many
innovative techniques that she has graciously passed on to the
rest of the staff.
She has completed extensive training with some of the biggest
names in the hair industry including Redken, Paul Mitchell,
Graham Webb, Sukesha, and Euphorah. With her superior
techniques and great listening skills, Ashley can create a custom look for any client!
Amanda W.
Hair Designer
Amanda carefully listens to every client's concerns and has the
rare ability to adapt to each individual's needs. Whether your
style is conservative or trend setting, Amanda possesses the
flexibility as a stylist to create a style for any personality.
During her years of creating great hair, she has studied
extensively with some of the biggest hair care manufacturers
in the beauty industry, including Matrix, Paul Mitchell,
Nioxin, and Artic.
Immensely talented at all color techniques and haircuts,
Amanda is excellent with all lengths and textures of hair.

Massage Therapist
Amanda specializes in therapeutic massage, bringing technical abilities coupled with significant anatomical knowledge together to provide her clients with a skill suited to their personal needs. After receiving training in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Reiki, Lymphatic Drainage, Pre-natal, and Hot Stone massage, Amanda returned to school to assist in teaching bodywork, and has gathered from her experience a unique understanding of the differences amongst individuals and their needs. With this understanding and a genuine concern for the well-being of her clients, she is able to make a personal connection suited for general relaxation as well as specific bodywork to alleviate pain and discomfort.

reputation. As a member of the front desk team, she devotes

As the head of the salon management team, Tonya is the glue
that holds the salon and spa together. She has been a vital part
in turning Tambra's dream into reality by becoming involved
with every aspect of Platinum. Tonya contributes many hours
to ensure that every customer feels at home while at Platinum
and receives the best service possible. Tonya loves being a part
of a growing salon where the sky is the limit.
Jodi
Hair Designer/Nail Tech
When Jodi interacts with her customers, it is apparent that her love of people and her ability to make people feel great fuels her success. Her top priority is finding the right style and color for her clients' individual needs. Dedicated to the craft of cosmetology, Jodi continues to increase her knowledge and experience to meet the needs of her steadily growing clientele. To stay current and trendy, she has attended design and product knowledge classes including TIGI, Goldwell, Wayne Grund, and numerous others. She has also attended the prestigious Chicago Midwest Beauty Show. In addition to designing great hair, Jodi also offers beautiful sculptured nails and spa pedicures. Jodi's attentive listening skills continually satisfy her clients' needs and never fail to provide a sensational and relaxing experience.
